I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! Though I couldn't be with my mom this Mother's Day, I had a wonderful relaxing day with my little guy and my husband.
When my husband asked me if I would like to go out to dinner on Mother's Day, I thought about it, and said lets do something we hardly ever do unless we are on vacation. Breakfast!! So we got around early and headed to a place I hadn't been before called the State Farmers Market Restaurant. Though I have been to the state farmers market, we hadn't ever taken the time to stop at the restaurant.
We had a delicious breakfast, then headed to a wonderful park we have in town called Pullen Park. It is such a perfect park for the little ones.
We arrived just a little before 10:00 a.m. so we had some time to play before the crowds came.
The little guy got comfortable and took his shoes off. I guess he could go faster that way :)
Oh yes they have sand too. The pigs had to come out.
Here is the train they have. It is always a big hit with our guy.
The park also has these cute little boats and boy was he having fun.
There is a water and sand area as well. Two of his favorite things.
A view of the train coming around as we were playing in the sand.
He must have climbed up this thing more than 10 times.
The park also has a carousel you can ride, but opted to skip it this time since our guy wasn't a fan last time we were there.
All and all it was a perfect day and we had the little one home for lunch and his nap. Sorry for the picture overload :) I hadn't been able to post for a while due to blogger problems. Finally the hubs figured out some setting on my computer was not working with blogger so I am back in business.
Have a wonderful day,
Linda

It looks like you had a wonderful Mother's day week and what a cute little boy! Greetings from Atlanta. Also, I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog - a cute silver pair of earrings! Check it out here! :-)
That park looks like so much fun! And a train too? Toddler heaven!
Glad you had a nice mother's day!
Looks like you had a wonderful mother's day. Great places to go. Your little guy is getting so big.
I answered your questions back on my blog, but in a nutshell...definitely take the stroller. We pushed it a lot with no one in it, but it's nice to have. She didn't want to get in it often.
Enjoy!!
