Myrtle Beach continues

Hope you all are having a nice weekend.  It got cooler here today (finally) and I am loving it!!!

Well I thought I would share with you my last round of pictures from when my sister and niece visited in July.  We had such a fun week while they were here.  I wish they had a fall break so they could come down again.

Here is our hotel from the beach Hampton Inn Oceanfront

Our little guy playing in the sand.

Niece loving the ocean.

Cousin time :)

Our little guy LOVES the lazy river.

Heading out of Myrtle Beach my husband thought it would be fun to take our niece on a car ferry since she had never experienced this before.

Our little one was so tired from all the excitement he slept through the whole ferry ride.

My niece thought it was so fun.  Usually I like it as well but this time not so much.  I was hit by the seagulls and got pooped on.  Yes I wish I was kidding.  I didn't even feel it then my husband was laughing so hard he could barely tell me.  Thank heavens we were on a trip and I had extra clothes.  It was all over my shirt so I had to change in the bathroom on the boat.  So gross.

Made it to the other side.

Since we were going by we decided to stop at the aquarium.  My husband and I have been before but this was my sister and nieces first time.  It's a small but nice aquarium.

Our little guy loves turtles.

Albino alligator.

They have put in a really nice play area outside as well.

We made it back home and on another day we headed to Pullen Park one of our little guys favorite places.

He LOVES the train ride.

My niece is such a little helper it is so cute.

It was a wonderful time and can't wait until they can come again.

Have a great week.

Myrtle Beach Part II

Our trip continues... Once we finished lunch we headed to the hotel to check in.  This was my nieces first trip to the ocean so she was super excited to say the least. I think she was even more excited that she was getting to see the ocean for the first time before her older brother :) Here are some views from our room. We always stay at the Hampton Inn Oceanfront when we go and just love it.  We have probably stayed here 5 times. Trip Advisor ranks it as #1.

She loved it!!! I'm so glad I was with her for this exciting moment :)

Cousins having fun in the kiddy pool.

One night we went to dinner at the Pier House restaurant.  We had a delicious dinner with great views.

Here is the view from our table.

We all walked out on the pier after dinner.

View of the restaurant from out on the pier.

Oh I was going to post more pictures but a little 2 year old at my house has decided not to take a nap today.  Need to sign off. More later.

Believe it or not I'm back

Happy fall everyone.  Sorry for my absence for so long.  First it was my computer, but my sweet hubby got me a new laptop so I am back in business there.  Then I had a new computer, but had vertigo for over a month and when the room is spinning being on the computer was the last thing I wanted to do.  The vertigo is better, but is still not totally gone grrrr.  And then as with everyone's life things just got busy.  Chasing a 2 year old around, family visiting and going places.  The time just flew bye.  So hopefully, I can catch back up with everyone and hope to give you a little look at what we have been up to as well.

First in July my sister and niece visited.  My brother-in-law and nephew had boy scout camp, but hopefully can come next time.  We had such fun.  My nieces favorite color is pink so I did a little pink table for her first night with us.  We cooked out, but was way too hot that night to eat out on the deck.

My niece has never been to the ocean so we headed to Myrtle Beach, SC while they were here. She was beyond excited!!! Heading down you see a ton of signs for south of the border.  We only stopped to let the kids stretch their legs, but it is totally cheezy and I wouldn't bother.

Upon arriving in Myrtle Beach my sister wanted to go to Margaritaville for lunch since she had never been to one. We all had a wonderful lunch.

My sister and niece.

The kids loved when the hurricane hit.  Here is a shot of the mixer being filled up to make margaritas.

And to finish off the lunch the kids got balloon hats.

A flower and a shark fin.

I will do this trip in parts for you so I don't bore you with all the pictures :)

More tomorrow.  Hope you all have been doing well.
