We finally made it to North Carolina after a wonderful weekend. We started off in Michigan for my father's birthday and father's day. On Sunday we headed to the yacht club for a father's day brunch. The little one had so much fun at the lake watching the boats, walking on the docks and putting his feet in the water.
On Monday we headed out and along the way found this perfect little park in West Virginia to have a picnic and let the little one stretch his legs. It was on the Ohio River. It gave us a nice break from the car too.
Monday we made it to our first destination, Lexington, Virginia to stop and see some friends. We had a wonderful time catching up.
This morning we were up bright and early to head to NC. Only a 4 hour drive today. The little one did great the whole way from Michigan. We were so glad. We got the car and trailer unloaded and have lots to put away. The little one is taking the longest nap ever right now. He is tired out. We all have hardly had any sleep the last several days. I think I will sleep good tonight. Hope to catch up with all of you soon.
