Yesterday the weather here was so beautiful so my husband and I had dinner and then went and got some frozen yogurt and took it down to Lake Michigan. I couldn't believe it at 6pm it was still 74 degrees by the lake. Usually closer to the lake it gets a bit cooler. We loved it. Spring weather just makes everything better doesn't it.

I praise God today for a wonderful husband and family, great friends, our health, and thankful to him that we live by such a wonderful body of water like Lake Michigan it is beautiful. ps: It has always been crazy to me that they call Lake Michigan a lake it is so big!! When I lived in Michigan on the east side of Lake Michigan I sailed a lot and just sailing out 10 miles from shore you can't see land anywhere. It is so amazing.

I agree! I don't think many people realize just how large our Great Lakes really are. I always say it is like the ocean...minus the salt and sharks!
